High School Musical

Autumn made the cut!

Here are the particulars for anyone interested:
The play is Legally Blonde the Musical.
It will be playing in the first and second weekends in May.
Autumn will be in the ensemble and playing the parts of the court room stenographer and Dana (we're not exactly sure who that is yet).  We know the stenographer part has at least one line.

Autumn is...

• Excited - this was her first audition, this will be her first play.
• A little down on herself - she attributes her luck to the fact that several very good actors didn't audition for this play.
• Apprehensive - the Broadway version has some very suggestive lines/moves, which Autumn (and I) are not happy about, but the drama teacher has promised the cast they won't have to do anything they aren't comfortable with.
• Sad - one of her good friends really, really wanted to be in the play but didn't get in.
• Going to be very busy again - all of next week is filled with after-school practices.  I'm already going to have to reschedule a doctor's appointment for her and it's only January.  The play isn't for months yet.
• But mostly she is really happy.  She says it's a life-long dream.
