Sean's 1st Jazz Band Concert

I'm so proud of Sean for joining the jazz band. It meets before school three days a week, so it takes an extra commitment from these kids. Sean loves it and eagerly gets ready early on those days to play.

In our school district, students have the option of joining band, orchestra or choir in the fifth grade. Sean started with the clarinet 2 years ago, then switched to bass clarinet in 6th grade. He has kept up with the bass clarinet in his 7th grade concert band, and has added the trombone for jazz band.

In this concert, Sean doesn't have a solo, but he is the stronger of only two trombones. Pay special attention at the 30-second mark to hear his "almost solo." Proud mama!
