On Wednesday, Shea sang in the 2nd grade music program at school. Well, "sang" is a strong word for it. He moved his lips a few times during the performance. Knowing his dislike for singing, I asked him beforehand if he intended to sing in the performance. He said he would but that he didn't really know the words. When I asked him how he would sing without knowing the words, he answered "I know the tune." So there you have it.
Shea also got an opportunity to participate in the Read to the Dogs program at the public library. He got to take a turn reading books of his choice to Magnum, the yellow lab you see in the photo. He got to do this 3 times and loved it. Magnum really enjoyed the treats at the end of each session. After the last session, Shea got to pick a book to take home.
