WinCo Foods quit selling a couple of our go-to products recently. One of our favorites was Nalley Lumber Jack syrup. It's not there anymore.
I have been making syrup-related breakfasts nearly every day for at least 15 years. Wow, it feels weird to say it like that. But it's true. My kids love pancakes, waffles, and french toast. The ones who love pancakes most also happen to be the kids who enjoy routines. Hence, the 15 years of syrup.

When the kids were little, I just bought whichever store brand syrup was cheapest. They didn't care. Nalley isn't the very cheapest, but it's close. Since I discovered that Nalley isn't carried at my grocery store anymore, we panicked a little. We tried another brand or two with negative results and were forced to retreat to our Nalley stockpile in the pantry.
Now we're down to the last bottle of Nalley. And it's a "lite" version I picked up accidentally. I purchased a few other brands in the last week or so, and tonight Michayla made french toast for dinner, so we had a little side-by-side comparison. There are at least two other brands at WinCo that I haven't picked up yet, but of these we decided we like Log Cabin best.
Now, what to do with the others...
