Summer School

I checked on my grades today to see if Spring Term had been posted.  It had, and I still have a 4.0!  Yay me!  I finally got my PE credit out of the way, and I know lots about Microsoft Excel now.

Next week I continue with my Keyboarding class that I started in winter.  It's a 3-credit class that you work at your own pace, and I only finished one credit last time I took it.  Now I have the summer to finish the other two credits.  I'm also going to take Interpersonal Communication.  I have my books and I'm ready to go.

I'm over the halfway mark now.  I started this adventure in Spring 2011 trying to accomplish prerequisites for the teaching program.  However, when I saw how long it would take me to finish, I switched to courses for Administrative Assistant.  Unfortunately, that meant I wasted quite a bit of time.  It's never truly a waste to learn something new, but it's too bad 20 of the credits I took didn't count toward my new path.

If I'm able to take all the classes I want to take when I want to take them, I'll be done at the end of next summer.  However, if history is any indication, I won't get the classes I want when I want them.  So it could go a bit longer than that.

Thirteen classes and cooperative work experience are all that's left!
