Last night Cody got a little closer to his Eagle rank in Boy Scouts. He advanced to Star at the Court of Honor. He still has a lot of work to do if he is to make it to Eagle before he turns 18.

This is the best bunch of boys I've ever met. I love that they totally accept--and even admire--Cody for who he is. I've become accustomed to adults approaching me to tell me how much they like Cody, but here, even the kids come and tell me he is the "coolest" or the "best person," that they "look up to him." This is the first place we've lived where he actually looks forward to going to church, to Scouts, and to school because he feels like he belongs. It's wonderful!
